GEHR STUDIO brings luxury interior onto the street

Musterstadt, the 5th of September 2022 – What began in 1913 with a small carpentry near Bremerhaven is now known as Gehr Yacht & Aircraft Interior – a leading provider of interior design solutions for mega yachts, cruise ships and VIP/VVIP aircrafts. With the new brand GEHR STUDIO, managing director Antonia Gehr is expanding the business areas of the company. In the so called “Studio of Masterpieces” extraordinary interior solutions for tailor-made and customer-specific business vehicles come into being.

Where expertise meets excellence

Individual needs and requirements call for individual solutions. That’s why GEHR STUDIO is not working with pre-drafted layouts or blueprints. Vehicles are either being delivered directly from the manufacturer or, in the case that clients want to customize a pre-owned vehicle, are being gutted professionally. As a result of this process, a chassis of up to nine meters in length becomes the canvas for a unicum. “It’s the details that make the difference. Even the smallest of details are being tailor-made in close collaboration between our team and the client. Doing so, we benefit from the decades of experience we have at Gehr Yacht & Aircraft Interior”, states Antonia Gehr, managing director of GEHR STUDIO.
The young brand relies on a successful concept that is not only optimally positioned in the fields of planning, production and assembly work but also in logistics. On the 6,800 sqm production site in Lunestedt, Gehr Yacht & Aircraft Interior has already served the likes of re-known clients such as AIDA, Mein Schiff, Lürssen oder Lufthansa. Over time, the company could handle and process more than 145 cruise ship projects, 30 megayacht projects and over 25 projects in the field of VIP/VVIP aircrafts.

The first masterpiece serves as a showcar

Based on a 20-year-old MAN vehicle, the team behind GEHR STUDIO has crafted an impressive showcar. Inspired by the body of a racing car from the 1970s, it presents itself in a satisfied and calm Tuscan Blue. The interior shows how efficient and multi-functional mobile spaces can be used today. Despite all of its functionalities, the showcar does not lack aesthetics, Gehr assures: “Creating atmosphere is an important part of our design process. Lighting, materials – nothing is off the rack. A place to both be productive and relax demands highly competent interior design solutions.”

The family company from lower saxony is now in its 5th generation of management.
